The ultimate in simplicity. You’ll always know how far you are from the center of the green. Even if you can’t see it! Try doing that with a laser rangefinder!
How far did you hit that drive? 5-iron, 9-iron or wedge? The SkyCaddie can tell you with a simple touch of a button. What is the safe distance to layup short of the water to set up an easy shot to the green? It’s all right here. Good course management starts with knowing the right distances.
With the SkyCaddie, whether you see the bunker or not, you can always play a safe shot. The SkyCaddie will tell you the distance to either layup in front of, or fly right over, any trouble. Now, by learning to target the large safe zones on a hole, you can start eliminating those 6s, 7s and 8s from your scorecard. Further customize the SkyCaddie by choosing one of several user-selectable color theme options.
With SkyCaddie’s new IntelliGreen® Pro, you can plan your approach shots with the same critical information and precision used by PGA Tour players!
Many greens have major elevation changes — upper levels, lower levels, mounds and false fronts — that require an approach to avoid being on the wrong place on the green.* Failing to take these into consideration can lead to three putts and lost strokes. With SkyCaddie’s exclusive ground-mapping technology, you’ll know the distances to those parts of the green to avoid in order to “dial in”, or maximize, your scoring opportunities. No other rangefinder can provide this information, yet no Tour player would play without it. Lasers can’t measure to these areas on the green, and GPS products relying on satellite imagery can’t see — much less map — these key areas on greens.
SkyCaddie’s HoleVue™ may look like an ordinary golf hole graphic at first glance. The difference is that every target on HoleVue has been verified by SkyGolf’s ground mapping, making it the most accurate and reliable golf hole graphical view in handheld GPS. Unlike most rangefinders, which rely on satellite imagery that is often outdated and unreliable, only SkyCaddie® walks the course to capture accurate and verifiable data with the permission of over 24,000 participating golf course partners. Fairway hazards and targets that may have been missing, moved or modified since the last available aerial image was taken will always be included in SkyCaddie’s course maps because we walk each hole. Aerial and satellite imagery can have errors affecting all distance measurements, including important green targets. Without the ability to verify and correct such general errors, almost any distance can be questionable. Although a satellite image may be able to provide an accurate distance measurement on occasion, the problem is that there is no way to authenticate or certify its accuracy without walking the course.
SkyCaddie’s exclusive QuickVue™ provides a virtual preview of the safest path from the tee to green. At a single glance, golfers know the exact green shape with IntelliGreen®, the total distance from tee to the green, the shape of the golf hole, the distance and direction to the perfect fairway position and the distance remaining from that position for the approach shot to the green. All information is derived from SkyCaddie’s exclusive TrueGround™ mapping technology to provide golfer’s with the highest reliability in the industry. QuickVue is available immediately on over 24,000 courses worldwide on SkyCaddie® devices supporting this powerful new feature. Unlike most rangefinders relying on satellite imagery that is often outdated and unreliable, SkyCaddie courses are mapped from the ground with survey-grade GPS equipment.
