Go Your Own Way
Pick your route and hit the streets. zūmo 220 is ready to go, on or off road, right out of the box. It’s preloaded with City Navigator® NT street maps for Europe and millions of points of interest (POIs) such as hotels, restaurants, petrol stations, cash points and more. It features voice-prompted, turn-by-turn directions that speak street names to your destination and displays speed limits for most major roads. In addition, zūmo 220 has lane assist to help guide you to the proper lane for complicated motorway and major route exits and junctions. zūmo 220 also comes standard with a digital fuel gauge so you can keep track of how many miles you have left before it’s time to fill up. And at the end of the ride, it fits neatly into your jacket pocket.

Your Rides Searching for the perfect back road to share with your riding buddies? Or perhaps you’re planning a cross-country trip and looking to avoid as much motorway as possible? With its powerful trip planning tools, zūmo 220 can help you create custom routes via computer and then transfer your saved journey directly back to the unit. Once home, you can review your rides in Google™ Earth. In addition, microSD™ card expansion makes it easy to share routes and add extra storage capacity. Pay a visit to Garmin Connect™, our online community of routes and riders. It’s a great resource for finding new rides, sharing travelled routes and planning trips.
Move Between Modes
Just because your bike’s parked doesn’t mean zūmo's work is done. This versatile navigator doubles up as a sat-nav for your car when you’re on four wheels instead of two. In addition to the included motorcycle mount, zūmo 220 also comes with a vehicle mount and power cable.
Stay connected
The zūmo® 220 with scala rider headset is the ultimate motorcycle bundle. You get in-the-ear instructions from your zūmo directing you wherever you want to go. If the road noise gets a bit too much or you increase your driving speed and simply need more volume, the scala rider will automatically adjust the sound level for you while you focus on keeping safe and steady.
A perfect partnership
The zūmo 220 and the scala rider Solo are the perfect partnership. The scala rider transmits turn-by-turn navigation from the zūmo via Bluetooth® wireless technology to give you high-quality audio and clear directions at all times. It even responds to ambient noise and vehicle speed to automatically adjust the volume so you don’t have to.
Suitable for most types of helmet (full-faced and ¾ helmets) it comes with two ultra-slim speakers which are also perfect for the more narrow helmets. It has up to 8 hours talk time/ 1 week (standby). As you’d expect for a rugged, motorbike-friendly product, the scala rider is durable and waterproof (IP67). Above all, it is easy to install and team up with the zūmo 220 to provide great spoken navigation on two wheels. It is also possible to listen to your MP3 player via your scala rider as well as make and receive mobile phone calls. |
