Golf GPS Range finders and Laser Rangefinder

We have a full range of Golf GPS sat nav’s and laser Rangefinder here at The Sat Nav Company.  Firstly we will offer a little insight into the difference between the two devices.

Golf GPS Rangefinder offers the user a measurement via GPS co-ordinates. All golf sat nav’s will offer a measurement in yards or meters to the front, middle and back of the green as standard.  The majority will also offer distances to the hazards in the fairway such as bunkers, water hazards, dog leg carries and lay up yardages on par 5’s.

Once in the fairway or in the rough, these golf GPS rangefinders will offer a lay up distance short of the green should the carry be too great. All the bunkers and hazards surrounding the green will be displayed with a carry and lay up distances. Just a touch of a button or a tap of the screen and your ideal yardage will be displayed
 
Not all manufacturers offer free of charge golf course downloads so we have included in our feature filter on the left hand side of the page an option to select the manufacturers that do. Please do not write off the manufactures that do charge for subscription as in our experience these devices are second to none with regards the quality of the mapped courses. Should your course undergo any changes with tee’s, bunkers or stroke indexes, the chargeable databases have the courses re-plotted within a short period.

Laser Rangefinders work on a very simple point and shoot basis. Simply look through the viewfinder and line up the target site with the flag or hazard and press the button for a measurement.

For ease of use these units are the best on the market. No charging is necessary as the majority take batteries and there isn’t a need to download any golf course data, just unbox point and shoot! In the Sat Nav Company opinion the only drawback with the laser rangefinder is should you play at a course with “blind tee shot or greens” the laser rangefinder can only measure what it see’s.
