A Golf GPS system offers the user a measurement via GPS co-ordinates. They will all offer a measurement in yards or meters to the front, middle and back of the green as standard. The majority will also offer distances to the hazards in the fairway such as bunkers, water hazards, dog leg carries and lay up yardages on par 5’s.
Once in the fairway or in the rough, these systems will offer a lay up distance short of the green should the carry be too great. All the bunkers and hazards surrounding the green will be displayed with a carry and lay up distances. Just a touch of a button or a tap of the screen and your ideal yardage will be displayed
