With this feature you are safe in the knowledge that your unit can be updated free of charge with all the very latest software information. (This does not include any Navteq mapping updates)
Multi Route Technology
A must for any traveller who visits a number of areas and places within one day. The S5000 Truckmate Pro allows you enter up to 10 routes so the unit can work out the most efficient route for you without you having to stop and enter journey after journey. A great time saver and organiser!
Free Traffic Management Information
This feature keeps you updated on any problems which may be occurring on your route and the unit will offer another route should there be a problem up ahead, therefore not having you sat in a traffic jam unnecessarily.
Bluetooth
The S5000 Truckmate Pro is compatible with most mobile phones and will enable you to answer calls hands free. With the large speaker fitted into the rear of the unit, the phone call and directions always sound loud and clear.
Built-in MP3 player
Should you wish to download your music library onto the Snooper S5000 Truckmate Pro and use it as a mobile MP3, yet again the system offers more useful features when the traveling is done.
AURA Speed Camera Database
The AURA database is exclusive to Snooper and will offer full coverage of all the speed cameras on the road.. With an audible alert you will never exceed the speed limit without you the S5000 Truckmate warning you. The My-Speed database car be set for car speed limits or advisory speed limits for caravans or motorhomes. Being the most comprehensive camera database availabe and covers worldwide locations, Snooper request a subscription to their database: £2.99 per month, 7.99 per quarter or £29.99 for a yearly subscription. Please note this is an optional extra and not compulsory when you purchase the unit.

Full postcode search
The Truckmate Pro will allow you to enter up to seven digits in the postcode search, along with the Navteq mapping helps your end destination point to be more accurate than a lesser post code search.
Street level mapping
The Truckmate Pro incorporates the most up to date street level mapping in the UK & Ireland. You may use the device as a navigation on foot through the streets too if you wish!
Junction view
The unit will alert you with Full screen Images of all motorway junctions and junction numbers, so you never miss that turning again.
Lane guidance
The lane guidance software will give you advanced warning of the correct lane, giving you ample time should you need to make a correction.
Navigate by Junction number
Search and navigate to motorway junction numbers using the updated 'find by map' function including Junction numbers. So if you don't know the postcode or street don't worry.
Your route
Save your favourite or bespoke routes that you've tailor made or use the map view to select particular roads you wish to travel on to create your perfect journey.
Point of interest 'corridor' search
Search many points of interests with this very useful catalogue of extended POI’s. Whether it be a hotel, restaurant, rest room or petrol station, with the new "corridor search, this will pinpoint these areas and many more specifically along your planned route, so you don't have to waste time and fuel. Navigation for the car
You can use this software on your Truckmate unit as a Car Sat Nav just by selecting the Car option on the start up menu. This will set the software to a car friendly journey allowing you to choose the best route for you depending on what vehicle you're driving at the time.
